DGM fulfils children’s wishes

Alongside all the stress and hectic end-of-year rush of the pre-Christmas period, there must be time for beautiful things. This is why DGM employees took part in a special campaign this year: the “Christmas tree of children’s wishes”. This wish campaign for socially disadvantaged children has been organized by the Stuttgart children’s office for several years. The big Christmas tree in the city hall is decorated with about 1,500 children’s wishes, which are just waiting to be fulfilled by the citizens. The DGM team was able to fulfil some of these wishes and give the children a little joy at Christmas.

FTI fair-weather search

High festival – 25 Years DGM

To celebrate our first quarter century DGM invited long-standing customers to an anniversary celebration at the Stuttgart television tower on 23rd May. In keeping with the occasion, the motto of the new DGM positioning was “Communication and Marketing Software”.

After a short review of the past by the management, Prof. Dr. Zurstiege offered an overview of current opportunities and challenges in the advertising industry. The guests were then able to experience for themselves how closely classical marketing can be dovetailed with digital methods by creating their own beer brand high up in the TV tower. They received the finished product with an individual label shortly afterwards as a prototype to take away with them.

There was also a lot to see in other respects. A wide selection of work illustrated DGM’s range of services – from communication solutions to software applications. And of course, the spectacular view of a wonderful sunset over Stuttgart also invited visitors to linger. Lower down, the evening continued with a tasty barbecue and a rich selection of salads in party mood with DJ Josh Kochhann. In wonderful weather and in the best of spirits, more than 100 guests enjoyed a successful DGM anniversary all round.

DGM counters Brexit – with its new customer Stenn International Ltd.

In December 2018 DGM presented the concept, since January its realization has been up and running. Only start-ups decide that quickly. Although Stenn – an extremely fast-growing FinTech with headquarters in London and offices in over 50 countries – is actually no longer a start-up. Because the company, founded in 2015 by the Russian credit finance expert Gregory Karpovsky, operates enormously successfully worldwide. Its core business: cross-border finance, i.e. the granting of short-term loans to buyers and manufacturers of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods). For brand development in online and offline media (DGM managed to win an international pitch) DGM benefits from years of international sales experience with its regular customer Mercedes-Benz, for whom sales support measures are regularly designed and implemented in the Middle East, North Africa and Singapore, for instance. Wissen weitergeben

DGM lehrt und lernt dabei: Im Masterstudiengang der Medienwissenschaften im Wintersemester 2018/2019 hat DGM zusammen mit Herrn Prof. Dr. Zurstiege zwei Lehraufträge für eine praxisnahe Lehrveranstaltung übernommen. 22 Studenten erarbeiten unter Anleitung von Dieter Dannenmann (DGM Geschäftsführer Kreation) und Steffen Schulik-Feddersen (Strategische Beratung) Kampagnen-Ansätze für die Jugendhilfe Baden-Württemberg. Ein Projekt, das die Ombudschaft in der Jugendhilfe bekannt machen soll und Medien- und Kommunikationswissen verbindet. „Spannend, intensiv und extrem vielseitig“ – das sagen Studierende wie Lehrende. Die Ergebnisse werden im Februar 2019 im Baden-Württembergischen Sozialministerium vorgestellt.

BUDGET WON FOR MERCEDES BENZ GLOBAL TRAINING

Sales training in a completely different way: edutainment instead of information, interaction instead of consumption, relevance instead of mass, “us” instead of “me”. Based on these experience principles, we were able to win the international “Global Training” budget from Mercedes-Benz with our interactive sales-training concept. We look forward to implementing the tool in 2019.

AOK COMPETITION

Winning is (not) a matter of luck. Under this motto the AOK 2018 competition with the professional volleyball players of TV Rottenburg will start punctually on the first match day against the reigning champion VfB Friedrichshafen. Two raffles have been planned: one for those in the sports hall and one for the VIP area. With the right match tip you can win a signed original TVR jersey. The raffle will be advertised in the club media as well as on posters and promotion stands on site. The winners will be drawn live, immediately after the game in both hall and VIP room.
