The Mercedes-Benz Global Training department is centrally responsible for the worldwide training of all Mercedes-Benz sales organizations. For online training courses, classroom teaching as well as special events, standardized and individualizable training materials are made available for markets and dealers: for all individual types of vehicles, accessories and a variety of topics such as safety.
Sales-staff training of a very different kind – this was the specification for the implementation of the 2019 sales-staff training concept of Mercedes-Benz Global Training. The PowerPoint training materials were to be “more interactive”. DGM’s concept of “more edutainment, more interaction, more relevance” proved a convincing solution. Since early 2019 we have been realizing standardized and individual training presentations, master templates and blueprints for all fields of Mercedes-Benz Global Training.
C-Sales 3.0 sales-staff certification
The sales-staff-certification training presentations accompany sales staff on their path to the successful accomplishment of C-Sales 3.0 certification. The three modules “Virtual Classroom”, “Certification” and “Applicant Selection” were newly prepared and designed in a modern and unified way by DGM. They are based on the master-template slides newly produced by us.
Sales-staff training element: Mercedes Benz Global Training Experience
The biggest Mercedes-Benz training event for dealers and sales staff this year was probably the GTE in Dresden. Under the motto “Mercedes-Benz Global Training Experience” some 13,500 Mercedes-Benz sales staff and after-sales service personnel underwent training. The material for dealers concentrated on new Mercedes-Benz models, focusing on the Mercedes-Benz EQC. Another comprehensive training module comprised the various vehicle safety systems.
For the GTE in Dresden DGM realized over 300 presentation templates. The presentations were conceived for “teacher-up-front” training sessions and for independent “clicking-through” at work stations. One technical speciality: the product presentations were designed in such a way that in function and optical appearance they resembled an app rather than a normal PowerPoint presentation.
