Kreuzstein Manor in Bayreuth can look back on a long history. Now this group of buildings is to be completely renovated and transformed into an exclusive conference centre with overnight accommodation. Planned future uses are as a location for culinary events (a large experience kitchen is one part of the project), seminars, workshops and large-scale organized events.
In order to enable investors and event partners to be able to experience the project from the moment the first sod is turned onward, DGM was commissioned to produce a 3D visualization of the completed complex.
The first stage was to use the actual plans to create 3D models of the buildings. During the next step, grey-shade images of these were agreed with the client. Then we used photos to imitate the materials and textures of the surfaces. In this way we produced not only a large number of 3D views for presentations and exposés but also a complete 360° depiction of the entire ensemble. Via a password-protected website it is thus possible to project an extremely lifelike view of the future. And those who wish to experience things even more closely can don an “Oculus Go” headset and wander through the future conference centre on virtual paths.
- Impressive visualization
- Flexible basis for a variety of different depictions in websites and apps
- Immediate immersion in and experience of the as-yet unbuilt architecture
